this picture was taken at independence hall (or something like that) in philadelphia. i experienced lots of static on our east coast trip because the humidity was low. the charges within objects kept their imbalances longer because of the cold weather and lower humidity. my hair was static-y on the long airplane ride back to hawaii too. when i pulled my sweater over my head, my hair cracked with static electrcity, because my hair is getting charged my the rubbing motion between my sweater and hair.
